Question: Why is .DOC and DOCX documents not recommended for submitting my ad copy?

Answer: When creating your ad copy, most users will use the fonts that are located on the computer for which they are using.  When you send that document (.DOC or .DOCX),  those font styles do not go with the document. If the end user does not have the same fonts that were utilized in the creation of your ad copy, Word will substitute the font with another. The end product may not look as you indented. We recommend that you submit the document using PDF format. Word includes a special print driver that allows you print to PDF. Go to File -> Print, and from the list of installed printers select "Microsoft Print to PDF" printer and click PRINT. Follow the on screen prompts to save your document as a PDF. This printer driver can be used with any application installed on your computer.  Other file (graphic) formats that are accepted are .JPG, .JPEG, .PNG, .GIF.
